We run regular tours and workshops at Numbi Valley to share our sustainable way of living and experience in permaculture practices, as well as cob building

You can also purchase fresh fruits and veggies, and open pollinated seed from the fam on your visit. More details are available here

Permaculture Farm Tours

Take a walk around the gardens with Kathryn or Ross for an explanation of how the land has been transformed from a degraded Ostrich farm, devoid of diverse life, to an abundant life-filled eco system. Interesting aspects such as organic vegetable gardening, permaculture, olive oil production, solar power, drip irrigation, sustainable natural building techniques and the use of chicken tractors will be illustrated and discussed. The tour will take approximately 1 1/2 hours.

Cob building workshops

Join Ross on a one day workshop at Numbi Valley. You will learn how to build a pizza/bread oven with cob, learn the benefits and challenges of natural building, understand ingredients and soil testing and get your hands and feet dirty in a practical oven build. A delicious lunch from the organic gardens is included in the day.
