Wellness at Numbi Valley

We take a holistic approach to wellness at Numbi Valley and are able to provide various wellness activities to keep you healthy. From eating well, to moving well to massage therapy and herbal firebaths. 

Kathryn is a certified Trigger Point Massage therapist and Hatha Yoga instructor (YTT 500hr) having obtained her Yoga certification with Yoga Alliance at The Kailash School in Dharamsala, India, The Samadhi Asram in Rishikesh, India and additional Asana training under Yogi Victor Van Der Klei in South Africa

Contact us to schedule a visit to the farm for a massage or yoga session, you can either join the scheduled weekly classes or arrange a private yoga class.

 You can also purchase fresh fruits and veggies from the farm on your visit. More details are available here.

Yoga classes are held in the inspiring cob constructed studio building on the peaceful farm with views to the Swartberg Mountain Range and the Olifants River Valley.  Private or scheduled weekly group classes are offered.

Massage Therapy

Take care of yourself with a Trigger Point Massage. Kathryn, a certified Trigger Point Massage Therapist, will conduct the massage in the beautiful cob studio with views over the Olifants River Valley and Swartberg Mountain Range using organic olive oil that is grown and produced at Numbi Valley. Complete your wellness journey and experience the benefits of an outdoor herb infused Fire Bath. The bath must be arranged at least 2 hours in advance and is an additional R100.

Permaculture Farm Tours

Take a walk around the gardens with Kathryn or Ross for an explanation of how the land has been transformed from a degraded Ostrich farm devoid of diverse life to an abundant life-filled diverse system. Interesting aspects such as organic vegetable gardening, permaculture, olive oil production, solar power, drip irrigation, sustainable natural building techniques and the use of chicken tractors will be illustrated and discussed. The tour will take approximately 1 1/2 hours.
